I don’t think you should invest that much money in Facebook. You should be thinking about 100,000 – 350,000 in my opinion.

  2. Steve D says:

You can’t invest in Facebook yet – it is not a public company. The Facebook IPO is expected in May, 2012. Most likely, it will be oversubscribed, so unless you have a big account with a broker and do a decent amount of trading, you won’t be buying Facebook stock until the subscribers decide to cash out and take their profit, which means the stock will already have taken a big jump, limiting your profits. After that, it all depends on how well the company does.

  3. Nina Durant says:

Facebook is not public nor open for investment until their IPO which will be difficult to be a part of anyway. However, if you have that kind of cash to invest I would certainly sit down with 3-4 licensed financial advisors and let them sell you on how they can help you. Get a bunch of free opinions from professionals working in the market every day and then go with your gut.

You need to diversify. Some long-term conservative, some aggressive growth, just balance it out. Licensed professionals will give you plenty of free information.

    Hope this helps!
