For me, one of the best actions I can take to
succeed online is to create masses of back links. There
are a few ways you can achieve this. None of them will
cost you a dime, but they will cost you your time. And
here's a little bit of advice: until you are generating
at least $800 per week online, you should spend as much
time as possible working on your business. If you need
to spend 5 or even 10 hours per day - circumstances
willing - then you should do so. Remember what you are
doing here, you are building a business that will free
you from the chore of working 9 to 5. An business that
will set you free. The rewards are unbelievable. When
you have developed your skill and knowledge to generate
this income, then you can think about outsourcing the
menial tasks to others.
So how do you create masses of back links to your site:
1. Write heaps of articles and submit them to heaps of article
directories online. Every single time one of your
articles is published by one of the better directories,
your website will generate a back link. Each time an RSS
feed picks up your article and places it on someone's
website, your website will generate a back link. The
next question I hear you ask is how many should you
write. To ensure success, you should write a minimum of
10 articles and post them all to at least 100 article
directories. Then once you have completed that, write
more articles on a daily basis and submit them to only
the top 10 article directories or the ones with a page
rank of 6 and above. I am currently submitting 20
articles every day. And I can do this easily because I
have developed a system.
2. Send your website address or your URL to masses of web
directories. You can do this in one of two ways. Do a
quick search on Google or MSN for web directories. This
will generate masses of back links to your website. You
want to get just over a hundred web directory back links
to your site. The closer to 150, the better. This will
definitely ensure that you get the search engine
rankings that you are looking to achieve in order to
make money in your particular niche. If you can do them
all within a short period of time, then that is still
better. You can search for web directories in two
different ways.
A) Type in "your niche + web directories" into your browser. You
will then be presented with a list of niche web
directories. Go through each one, one at a time and
submit your URL wherever you can.
B) Type in "web directories" into your browser, and again you will
be presented with a list of web directories. Start
submitting your website address to each of them.
In my opinion, the first method is the best, as you will achieve a
superior quality of links.
3. The third and final method of creating masses of back links is
to write to website owners in your particular niche and
request that they agree to a reciprocal link. This is
where you link to their website from your website, and
they, in turn, link to your website from theirs. This
method is not favored much by the search engines, but it
can prove to be very useful. What you need to do is to
type your niche into the browser and begin e-mailing
each one of the website owners. Failing this, you could
write to each website owner and request that you do a
review of one of their products. In return for the
review, you write a testimonial, which will contain a
link to your website.
Most website owners will jump at the chance of receiving a
testimonial for their sales page. This type of link is
non-reciprocal and is more favored by the search
engines. Aim to create 25 or so testimonials.

So you have bought into all the hype about the internet and you
have decided to make a website. You work for 2 months
straight writing content and researching keywords, you
don't even pay attention to where your site is on a
Google search for your targeted keyword. Then you have
the brilliant idea to search your keyword and hope to
see your website there at the top of page of your
search. For this example we will say you were targeting
the keyword phrase "get rich quick using the internet."
So you type that in and you are disappointed not to see
your site ranked on the first page. So, you start
thinking that the second page would not be that bad.
However, you don't see it on the second page, now your
starting to worry. After about ten minutes you finally
find your site located on the hundredth page on Google.
You are depressed and can't figure out what went wrong.
You optimized your page just as described by the
experts, your page should be there on the first page. It
looks like somebody forgot to build some back links.
Back links are formed when another website on the web links to your
site. Google views this link basically as a vote. The
more votes your website has the higher on Google you get
ranked. So, as in the example if you have 0 back links
your site will be ranked way back on Google, as opposed
to if you have 5000 back links you can expect to see
your website at the top. So, now that you understand
what a back link is and how important it is, I will
explain how to get these little goodies. However you
must understand that building back links takes time, you
can't expect to gain 300 quality back links overnight.
1. I believe the number one best way to gain back links is through
article submission. The way article submission works is
that you submit your best article to an article
submission website (such as ezine.com) then when your
article is accepted people can use your article on their
website for free. So if you put a hyperlink in the
article to your website and then 50 people use your
article then you just gained 50 new back links with one
article. Pretty nifty stuff, eh? So, why are you waiting
here, go out and submit your best quality articles!
2. You can comment on other peoples forums/blogs. This is an easy
way to get back links early on. Just visit some ones
blog/forum and leave a comment that has a hyperlink to
your website, this will give you a back link each time
you comment!
3. Submit your website to directories. This takes a lot more time
then article submissions, but it is a free back link, so
why not? Plus this can also drive a little more traffic
to your website/blog.
4. Use social bookmarking website! Use website like digg where you
can submit a website page. With this you can also create
anchor text. So if you where optimizing your page with
the keyword phrase
"How to make money" you could create "How to make money"
in the anchor text, thus search engine optimizing your
page even more!
